Happy Christmas and July 4th
Why you should keep your videos evergreen so viewers don't tune out

One thing you should know
Are your videos timeless?
It’s tempting to start a social media video with a cheerful 'Happy Monday!'
And that would be great if it was a live video.
But your record time isn’t always when your audience will watch it. Social media content can circulate for days, even weeks, after posting and mentioning the day or season makes your content dated.
The first five seconds of your video are prime real estate! Instead of time-related filler, open with a statement or question that compels people to keep watching.
Watch the seconds — the likes, comments, and follows will take care of themselves.
One thing you should do
It’s time to tell a story.
Describe a problem that your client or customer had and a unique way you helped them overcome it.
But here’s the tricky part: don’t brag about yourself and how good you are. Include tips that teach and help the viewer become better.
And as always, keep it under a minute.
And another thing
One of the best storytellers I know is a guy named “Rabbit” with a YouTube channel called VINWiki. I’m not a hardcore car guy, but dang it if I won’t watch every video until the end.
Bonus points: check out a few of his videos and ask yourself what makes his content so compelling.
What should I write about next? Just hit reply and let me know.
Until next time,
