If you're not posting 4 times a day...you're normal
Just focus on this one thing and you'll be fine -- I promise.

Hey there,
Don't worry about how many times you have to post. Just focus on this one thing, and you'll be fine.
One thing you should know
This week, I’m on my LinkedIn soapbox about posting frequency. I’ll spare you the video and give you the cliff notes: ignore the Gary Vees of the world who say you should post four times daily on every platform.
Are they right?
I mean...if you have a 3-person team and are comfortable being held in the cold, bony hands of burnout, by all means.
But for the rest of us here on Earth, even four posts a month can feel like a lot.
So, how often should you post? As often as you are able to create meaningful content that makes a difference to your audience.
That’s it, really. Start small. For now, don’t think tactically about posts and algorithms. Just create good content that helps others without dimming your light inside.
P.S. Gary Vee is awesome, but it’s easy for those just getting started to misunderstand his message.
One thing you should do
If you’re starting, it’s difficult to sort through your first topics. Here’s how to figure it out.
Write down the top 3 questions everyone asks you in your profession.
Some of my top ones are:
What do I do with my hands?
Should I use a teleprompter?
How often should I post?*
These should be the topics for your next three videos. Don’t answer them all in one long video. Start with the easiest one and be as succinct as possible.
*see what I did there?! I’m playing 4D chess, you guys.
And another thing
Making mistakes is a part of making videos. Here’s a blooper reel from a recent project with our team at 9/8 Central.
What should I write about next? Just hit reply and let me know.
Until next time,
Will
